Valley Springs, 5-23-07: MyValleySprings.com hosts 3rd Town Meeting, "Water and Land Use Planning: Making the Connection"

Dozens of Calaveras County residents attended and participated in the 3rd educational public meeting put on by MyValleySprings.com, with the support of the Foothill Conservancy, CAP, and the Calaveras Planning Coalition. These "town hall" meetings focus on various aspects of planning for the future of the community and the County. The third meeting "Water and Land Use Planning: Making the Connection", addressed watersheds, floodplains, water quality, runoff, recharge, land use, etc. Planning and water resource professionals Clark Anderson (Local Government Commission) and Timothy J. Lawrence (UC Davis) shared their knowledge and experience.
